Her UK tour had just finished at the time, and together with her band, including a funny bassplayer, now arrived in the Netherlands. Watch her talk about it in part one.

This group of friends just got in a band to see Europe and to get girls. No, not really. They're actually really sensitive and love silly comedies. Just watch their home-made movies on youtube! They also talk about the difference between their new album Devils and Angels and the previous one, which is a little bit rougher. "We don't mind looking kinda silly and stuff, so we put the movie out on the internet."

Jason Mraz: Video-interview with Jason Mraz

What's up with the chickens Jason? Did you steal those too? Don't take the 'summervibe' in his songs to serious because it's pretty much always summer if you ask Jason. We also talk about his expectations, how percussionist Toca takes all the attention away from Jason and about his crowd; young girls. "It's the hat, girls like guys with hats. That's all there is to it"

Moya Brennan: Video-interview with Moya Brennan, part 1

Moya Brennan, why that name? Well, with this phonetical version of her real name, Maire Ni Bhraonain, we've immediately ended all trouble with her name. It takes some getting used to though. She recently acted among the star cast that produced 'The ballad of Ronnie Drew'. In this first part she tells us how this all went down and how much she liked it. She also talks about Dutch fans, and how other places are sometimes less cool than Holland for instance. She also talks about how important it is to chat with fans every now and then. "It's important to just get some feedback, to hear what they want to hear"

Tripping Daisy: Audio-interview with Tripping Daisy

You all known the Polyphonic Spree. They look almost like some cult, this big group of people. When they go onstage, they look like a rainbow. But they perform gorgeous gospelpop. But they didnt come out of nowhere. Singer Tim DeLaughter founded Tripping Daisy in the early nineties in Dallas. A succesfull period for the band that had a more rock-oriented sound wich triggered some comparissons with the (psychedelic period of) The Beatles. The succesfull period of the band was unfortunately ended by the death of guitarist Wes Berggren who died of an overdosis. This interview is right out of the top-Tripping Daisy days. Check it out!

Redd Kross: Audio-interview with Redd Kross

With some bands, you have a hunch something is wrong. You listen to the music, you read a lot of interesting stories which are really easy to find and it all looks legendary. Redd Kross exists/ existed for over 28 years, and despite 10 years of literally nothing, the band was working its way up the ladder of Great Successes. When you dive into it, you can see connections with bands like Pearl Jam, Black Flag, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Circle Jerks and Bad Religion. With these names in the back of your head, you can do nothing but wanting to get to know and expect more of the band. The brothers McDonald put out an EP in 1980 as Red Cross –as it still was called back then- and that was the kick-off of a career. A career which was suddenly ended at the end of the 20th century, when Eddie Kurtzel -just yet part of the band- died after the Hiatus tour. Almost 10 years, nothing was heard of them besides some small-time side projects. Until 2006, when the band suddenly reappeared on the stages. Listen to this interview with a probably legendary and underestimated band.

The Screaming Trees: Audio-interview taken from AVRO archives

Fighting, drinking and other stuff. The Screaming Trees all went trough it. Despite collaborations over the years with Mark Lanegan and Josh Homme –who we all known from the Kyuss-QOTSA corner- they never attained the popularity of fellow Seattle bands Soundgarden and Nirvana. But still, they do have a very good reputation in the big, so-called 'underground' scene. A pretty unique band and, with the eloquent name(?), an unique interview too.
