On a chilly afternoon in December, we decided to take a hike with the nice guys from Nada Surf. Away from interviewing in the usual boring hotel room, with our noses in the fresh air, they tell us about their new album Lucky. We walked into the “Vondelpark” in Amsterdam where we learn about the experimental side of the album, why they didn’t make a double with all the material they had and we get to enjoy the Mexican robe of Ira all the time.
