Interview with Menswear in Holland (Part 1)
When britpop was at it's height, the music industry was frantically signing anything with guitars and weird hairdos. Menswear got signed at a party, when they weren't even a band. The British music press jumped to the occasion though, predicting a big future for menswear. Now, as in today, it might be hard to imagine, but there was a time when menswear were as big as Blur and Oasis. To prove our reporters they could in fact carry a tune, menswear grabbed a guitar and played us their interpretation of the Oasis song "Whatever".
