Vocalist, Gary Mescil did an interview about the things that inspire his lyrics:

"I think people in general have gotten a lot more selfish. Everybody has to fend for themselves. Everybody is grasping for straws. It's what you have to do, everybody has become more money minded. More so than when I was younger. It's gotten pretty bad. And I don't think I'm that different from the average person, so I tend to structure my lyrics that way."
