In the first part of the interview Fink tells about his new album 'Distance and Time', he explains why the album is called 'Distance and Time'. Hij tells how the band is involved in writing the songs for the album and how Fink is developed to a band.

Fink explains in the second part of the interview why his lyrics are so personal and why it isn't difficult to play those songs live on stage while they are so personal. He also talks about the music scene and about other bands in the music scene.

In the last part of the interview with Fink he tells he wanted to make an unique, personal album en why he thinks he succeeded. He explains why he stopped performing as a dj and why he isn’t even thinking about stopping as singer/songwriter.

March 2006. We spoke to the DJ, remixer and musician Fink in a nice hotel in the centre of Amsterdam. His first 'real album', "Biscuits for Breakfast", will be out soon. But as a new singer/songwriter it still makes him a bit shy. Why?

"When I presented some songs to my label I said: The singer is a guy I met from the streets. Do you all like him? When the record was done I told them all that it was me singing...hahaha."
