Dave Clarke has been a big fan of Coldcut since their inception in the early eighties, so the chance to interview the guys in his second hometown was an opportunity not to be missed. Toazted and Clarke met up with Coldcut in a swanky hotel in Amsterdam and talked about early cut & paste sampling/ visuals, the merits of the BBC radiophonic workshop, 4 track recording and life after John Peel.

We spoke to Jonathan More and Matt Black from the legendary Ninja Tune label and band Coldcut. The guys have been together for more than 15 years. In the mid 80's the band had big hits and now they still make lovely electro music. Check out how Jonathan and Matt tell about what happened in their careers so far.
