Video-interview with Hard-Fi (1)

We met the guys from Hard-Fi in Amsterdam just outside of the Melkweg. We talked with them about the previous show in that venue and what happened with them since that show. We talked about how they are as a live band and if it was difficult to make the second album they just released. Why did they use a whole string orchestra and why is it less raw then the first album?
Video-interview with Hard-Fi (2)

In the second part of the interview with Hard-Fi we ask them if you have to listen to the album a few time before really get it. We talk about the art work of this album and why they chose to do that the way they did. Does that have anything to do with downloading?
Video-interview with Hard-Fi (3)

In the last part of the interview with Hard-Fi we ask them what they think of downloading. We talk about the action Radiohead did (let the people decide how much they want to pay for the download version of the album). At the end we get to talk about the influences of Hard-Fi.
The "Hard-Fi getting more popular" interview (2006)

We, again, spoke to Hard-Fi while they were on tour through Europe. In Amsterdam the band played the Milkyway and we spoke to Ross and Steve. Backstage we talked about how quickly the band got big, selling lots of records, how hard the music bizz can be and more.
"We only had 500 demo's and a big major record company just contacted us and signed us. The record have been in the charts for 20 weeks!"

Interview with the band Hard-Fi (2005)
We spoke to two guys (Steve and Ross) of the English band Hard-Fi when they were in Holland for promoting their brand new record "Stars Of CCTV". The band played the Paradiso and Toazted asked them how they have been doing and a lot more. (October 2005)
"We did our first gig in October 2003, a year later, October 2004, the snowball started to roll..."
