John and Anthony from The bravery talked to us in the basement of Paradiso, where they were playing that night and they explain what they like about Amsterdam. We also ask them about the new album.

In the second part of the interview the boys explain how they write songs and the touring life.

We spoke to The Bravery bass player, Mike on the Dutch Lowlands festival about life on tour. Getting up in the morning, promising yourself never drink again, and partying after every show. Hang over Mike.

"I recently saw a video with myself in it from last year. Now I look almost 10 years older hahaha..."

Finally The Bravery were in Holland again for a show. We talked to keyboard player John about the tour of the band. They play almost every night. That must be exhausting... Recorded in Amsterdam, June 2005.

"When we started as a band, we played every Thursday in New York. Started promoting it. Club DJ's got hold on songs they got from the internet and so we got big..."

"We recorded the album in our appartments and developed our sound there. We woke in the middle of the night and started working on the music. We kept it all (artwork and music) in the family."
