The British band The Bees were in The Netherlands for a show. Toazted talked to them just before the show. Aaron Fletcher and Tim Parking talk about how happy they are to play their new material in the Netherlands for the first time. Also adressed are the history of the band and how often bees come to their shows.

The new album by The Bees titled Octopussy is discussed and also the reviews it has gotten. The guys in The Bees also get in to the way they write songs and what tourplans they have for the future.

Aaron Fletcher and Paul Butler spoke to us in the summer of 2004 about their new CD, "Free The Bees". This time instead of recording in their studios on The Isle of Wight, they chose to go into Abbey Road studios in London. We asked them about recording away from home:

"Abbey Road is bigger and has better equipment and we were more focused there but if we had the same equipment at home, we'd work at home. We've got to save our pennies!"
