Backstage on the Pinkpop festival we spoke to bass player Ross from The Zutons. He explains what the band has been doing the last couple of months and how the business is going so far. Ross tells some funny stories which happened on the road. (June 2006)

The Zutons were finally back in Holland for a gig in the Paradiso Amsterdam. Singer Dave couldn't make it to the interview because he caught himself a rare allergic disease during a show in the UK... Russel tells all about that and about the new album "Tired of Hanging Around" in this mp3 interview. Recorded in April 2006.

We had an interview with bass player Russell and drummer Sean of the Zutons while they were getting excited to play the Lowlands festival.

"We just came back from USA and Canada. That was really good. Back to basics. After this tour we will write new songs. It's difficult writing on tour. But we have some new cool ideas."

"A lot of good music comes from America. Even English music is heavily influenced by American black gospel music. Music is one of the few things America has a good heritage with."
