Toazted had the chance to have a short talk with the beautiful Heather Nova. She was on tour and played the Pepsi Stage in Amsterdam in March 2006. We met her and had a small talk about this acoustic tour and why she plays a lot of her old songs.

"I changed the last few years by becoming a mother. It changed my perspective on life a lot. It brings out the best in you."

We spoke to singer Heather Nova on the Dutch Lowlands festival about Heather´s new album Red Bird, which she promoted on that festival. Toazted asked her about this album, the tour so far and more! (Recorded August 2005)

She was writing songs before the whole female singer songwriter trend of the nineties and we did an interview with her about that and spirituality.

We caught Heather after her performance at The Lowlands Festival in 1998 and we did an interview with her about life on the road.

"You get these strange cravings for wanting to be at home and make pasta and watch videos and really mundane simple things. That's what you miss, but I'm not complaining, it's exciting."
