The Liars were in Amsterdam to promote their brand new album "Liars". Toazted sat down together with Julian, Angus and Aaron and asked them about their new album. Julian also wanted to know about jumpstyle, and even tried it!

Part two of the interview with the Liars where the band talks about writing all the time and getting the record released by the record label. They also talk about recording the album in Germany and how your location affects the music. Even the room where you record makes it different, interesting.

In the third and last part of the interview the boys talk about what they think of people that hate their music and talk about that on the internet. They also talk about vinyl compared to cd's and their favourite albumcover. Then they explain in what way they are involved in the making of their artwork and their video.

Singer Angus Andrew did an interview with us about the new album "They Were Wrong, So We Drowned", which was inspired by the witch hunts in medieval Germany. Even though the album sounds very experimental and noncommercial, Angus has a practical view on the music industry:

"Making music is a business. Artistic integrity comes first, but you need to realize you're in a business."
