The first part of the interview with Apocalytica is about how they don't want to be just a celloband. They want want make good songs and be famous for that and not because they are a celloband. The explain how they achieved to make those strange sounds on the album and tell there are only guitars on two of the songs on the album.

The second part of the interview with the guys from Apocalyptica is about the different vocalists they collaberated with and why they chose for them. They also explain how they recorded the tracks with those artists.

In the last part of the interview they explain how they are going to play all the songs with vocals on it live. They might turn the show into one big karaoke-event. They also tell who they want to work with in the future.

The classical metal band Apocalyptica played the 2005's Pinkpop festival. They put on a really great show and the crowd seemed to love it very much. Just before the show we talked to Eicca Toppinen of the band about the new album "Apocalyptica".

Apocalyptica talks in this interview about the secret quality of heavy metal music.

"Our parents were not too happy when we were kids and playing Sepultura out loud. Then when we took the drums and the vocals off and they just heard the melodies and the vocals, they were like: 'Wow, this is very good music!' We have been able to show people that heavy metal is not just noise. There is a big strong energy and feeling behind it."
