MP3 interview with Marten from Meshuggah (2006)

Toazted spoke to guitar player Marten Hagstrom from the Swedish metal band Meshuggah. The band just released their new (old) re-mixed album "Nothing" out. The album was originally recorded in 2002, but didn't sound the way Meshuggah wanted... So here we are with a renewed sound! Check out what Marten had to say about this album, and even about the new album, on which they are working right now! (Recorded on November 14th 2006 by phone)

Meshuggah back in Holland!

In June, 2004 we did an interview with guitarist Marten Hagstrom about guitars, their ideas for their next CD and their new LP called "I", which consists of one 21 minute-long song!
"It's a tweeked journey of everything we've done so far and it's the most interesting journey we've made musically."

Meshuggah Listening party in Sweden 2002
This killer Swedish metal band invited a couple of music journalists to Sweden in June 2002 for the release of their new CD "Nothing". We did an interview with Jens Kidman about what happened after the song 'Soul Burn' was played on an episode of The Osbournes.
"In one episode, Jack Osbourne put his speakers in his window and played our song 'Soul Burn' and that's how we got on Ozzfest!"
