We spoke to singer Mark Hunter from the band Chimaira when they played some shows in Holland in December 2005. We asked Mark how he looked back on the year 2005. Recorded in December 2005.

"The new record is doing really well, especially over here. My highlight of the year was seeing Nine Inch Nails in concert!"

Chimaira have been working very hard on the new album "Chimaira". They're constantly on the road and they love it! We asked singer Mark Hunter about their extensive touring, the new album that will be out in August 2005. Recorded on the Dutch Fields Of Rock, June 2005.

"The new record will be more unbelievable. It's loud!"

These guys have to be one of the busiest bands around. They're constantly on the road and they love it! We asked Matt DeVries about their extensive touring, why Andols Herrick left the band and what we can expect from them in the future:

"The new record will be more technical and better all around. We have a fresh new member to help us out."

Singer Mark Hunter explains how they recorded their latest album 'The Impossibility of Reason' and then he shares a little story about meeting Mariah Carey:

"I did not date her! She just showed up at the studio some day and I'm like: 'Hey how is it going'. And she's like: 'Have some Crystal', which is really expensive champagne. So we toasted, but no dating!"
