Toazted.com awarded Slipknot for being the most downloaded artist of 2005. Over a 100,000 fans downloaded the "Subliminal Verses" interview to hear front man Corey Taylor talk about their sold out tour, and the upcoming recording of Taylor's famous side project Stone Sour. Slipknot won Toazted honors in two categories. One, being Toazted's Most Popular Heavy Metal Band of 2005 leaving Rammstein, System of a Down and metal gods Metallica behind and Two, being Toazted's Most Popular Act of 2005 leaving bands like Coldplay, Greenday and Franz Ferdinand in the dust!

The 'Most Wanted' Award was presented to Corey Taylor in New York City at the Nokia theatre on December 15.
